If we peel the layers back of success we can find traces of luck sprinkled in. Sometimes luck disguises itself as something else, and many times it goes unnoticed.
Success, regardless of how one defines it, is a challenging journey. Luck lives in the dark corners of the trails, showing its presence in serendipitous moments. While I believe a certain degree of luck is required for success. I also believe one needs to be ready to accept luck when it arrives.
“Behave as if luck is around the corner because one day it will be”
With this in mind, we can prepare to be lucky. What does a clue, or wink look like when the universe tilts your way?
Maybe part of finding success is not a matter of being lucky, as it is a matter of being aware of when luck is present. The universe serendipitously tilts our way, and at that moment we must act. Lack of action doesn’t encourage the universe to tilt again or teach us how to welcome luck when it strikes in a different moment.
Luck is a dynamic aspect of nature. It seems unfortunate to let luck pass by unnoticed. An individual prepared to receive luck is a lucky one.
So, what are you preparing for? And how will you be prepared for when luck arrives?
“It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes you are ready.”
Hemingway (Old Man & The Sea)
